Location of Tanzit Razorstone
Ok I think I've found him and can reliably explain how to get to him. Enter Sorrow's Furnace without getting any quests. When you come to the first open area where you have to fight several groups, open the door on the right side and head that way. You'll come to another open area with several different groups to fight, you should be near an npc that gives the quest about killing 6 different bosses. Look around and there should be two bosses near that area and one should be Razorstone. Assuming boss placement is not random he'll be there. I did this three times in a row with henchmen and he was always in that spot, however, being with henchmen I didn't get his green item. I assume it is this axe since it bears his name:
This seems to be one of the most desired green items I've seen so far and I assume most people will want to find one. All I ask in return for this information is for someone to sell me one at a reasonable price when they become very common .
Go ahead and test this yourself. Hopefully the spawn is reliable, however it may just be a random boss there and I was only lucky to have it be razorstone 3 times in a row (so no flames if I'm wrong). Feedback on the validity of this spawn would be nice. Also if it is not clear how to get to this location in Sorrow's furnace, post here and I'll try to clear it up.
Let the farming begin.

Thanks for that - I was just in there searching for that very boss. ... just to chat, of course!
One question though: how do you open the doors once you're inside SF? I can't seem to figure that bit out.. do you need to sell yourself into slavery first?

i cant remember the item name exactly that opens doors... just look for the gears that are working (should have yellow text)...go click on them and you get an item (master gear or something) that you carry over to the non-working gears by the doors...
someone really needs to help me with the names of that suff

"Gearbox"
Very cool.. I was wondering what all that was about. I've just been disabling them and leaving the gears on the ground to remind myself where I've been

I found him and have tried near a dozen times with henches to get that axe to drop but getting drops sucks with henches so I have yet to obtain that axe. It is so frustrating I am going to give up trying for now.

I went there, and the boss spawn is indeed random. The one on the stairs that spawned was Garbok Handsmasher, and the one that spawned down below was Brohn Stoneheart.

Yes they do spawn random, however I find him more often than not, up the path where there is no gate.

Does anyone know if there is any benefit to using multiple items for the same boss. For example a warrior boss would it be more beneficial to use the weapon and shield combo that he can drop or does it matter.

Hmmm... would be nice if Yakslapper's staff were a bit better.
I also thought (quite mistakenly) that the bosses inside the Furnace did not drop green items. Whoa, was I wrong...

I'm still having trouble finding him. If anyone wants to show me where he spawns, or if anyone needs a healer monk for their tanzit farm run, whisper me at Reiki the Enigma.

As far as I can tell the bosses spawn in the same places -- although it will be a different boss each time...
I've marked the boss locations ( orange squares ) on a map here:
http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/7159/bossmap2yu.jpg
They'll certainly be a boss in those locations I've marked -- I don't think I've missed any out although I'm working from memory...
You can see the original map here:

Somene should remind them that chest locations are random, each time you enter, they're in a different spot.
